One of my favorite apps on my iPad is MyRecipeBook. This is a brilliant tool for cooks because it allows you to add your own recipes, and it is integrated with around a dozen sites (including the usual suspects such as Epicurious, Cooking Light, and of course, the Food Network). So you can search for recipes on a bunch of different sites, and import them directly into MyRecipeBook. The only problem with an iPad in the kitchen is that you have to be careful about spills. My low-tech solution- a one gallon baggie! As you can see from this picture, it really comes in handy -that is a squirt of butter from some butter I softened a little too much… but the resulting cookies (butterscotch!) were delicious!
