It is just about March 1, and we have had a couple of weeks of relatively warm weather (60’s). As a result, some of the perennials are starting to peek out of the earth. Last year, I planted garlic chives in one of my flower, ah, vegetable boxes, and I was delighted to see it is coming back this year. It goes very nicely in a creamy garlic chive pasta recipe.
Technically, mint might not be a vegetable, but since it is also making an appearance in my garden, didn’t want it to feel left out.
